Associate Professor
Michael Killian is an associate professor at the Florida State University College of Social Work and has a courtesy appointment as a professor in the FSU College of Medicine. He serves as Co-Director of the Initiative for the Advancement of Pediatric Transplant Health Research (IAPTHR), a partnership between the FSU College of Social Work, FSU College of Medicine, the UF/FSU Clinical and Translational Science Institute, and the University of Florida and Shands Children’s Hospital. His primary research focus surrounds pediatric organ transplant recipients and their families, adherence to medication regimens and post-transplant health-related quality of life and health outcomes.
