The Florida State University College of Education’s Program in Higher Education is ranked 18th in the United States among all higher-education administration programs in the U.S. News & World Report publication "America’s Best Graduate Schools 2008." The rankings were released on Sunday, April 1.
"Faculty and students in this program are conducting research that is vital to their field," said Marcy P. Driscoll, dean of the College of Education. "Recognition in such a widely known and used publication is a testament to the quality of the Program in Higher Education."
The Program in Higher Education is a part of the college’s department of educational leadership and policy studies. This year, the program is celebrating its 50th year of preparing individuals for positions of leadership in colleges, universities and related agencies whose activities affect higher education.
