What do new cancer treatments, online lie detection, grape stem cells, web-based suicide prevention, oyster aquaculture, and robots have in common? Besides being a few of the countless forms of research and creative activity taking place at Tallahassee’s three institutions of higher education, they also represent a small sampling of the more than 80 exhibits ready for display during the inaugural Discovery on Parade event, happening this Tuesday, Dec. 1 at the FSU Turnbull Center.
Jointly hosted by FSU, FAMU and TCC, this community event will provide a unique preview of new and exciting inventions, discoveries and innovations making their way into the world. The event is free and open to everyone, requiring only a simple online registration found at http://www.discoveryonparade.com/.
