Florida State announces new Provost

Six months after the start of an exhaustive national search, Florida State University President Eric Barron announces the appointment of Garnett Stokes as the university’s new Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs. Stokes comes to FSU from the University of Georgia, where she served as Dean of its Franklin College of Arts and Sciences–UGA’s largest college.
