Florida State University lost a dear and well-known member of our family when University Photographer Bruce Palmer passed away suddenly on Oct. 14, 2022.
If you’re not familiar with Bruce’s name, most of you would likely recognize Bruce’s face and warm personality, as he was present, with camera in hand, at nearly all the university’s most significant events. Bruce joined University Communications in 2015 and is survived by his wife and three adult children.
Bruce was known for his artistic eye and incredible photographs of FSU’s iconic landmarks and people, and we will be forever grateful for his friendship.
